Getting Started

Today, as they say, is the first day of the rest of your life. Well, for me, it's the first day of my new life. A life of improved health, rosier outlook, and smaller clothes. Today is the beginning of the new regime. My family (mom & dad, sister, hubby and daughter) are planning a trip to Hawaii in October 2011. My sis, mom and I have started a "weight loss wager," and whoever loses 50 lbs first, the others each pay $25. A dollar a pound? I can do that.
